Amazing Chocolate Chip Cookies with Pecans

In a medium bowl, combine:

    2 large eggs
    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
    3/4 cup white sugar
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Blend until smooth.  Then add:

    2 and 1/4 cups white flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt

Mix together, then add:

    2 cups chocolate chips (or amount desired)
    1 cup pecan pieces

Form dough into balls and place on baking sheet.
Cook for 10 minutes at 375 degrees or until golden brown.

If the cookie bottoms are already brown, remove them from the hot sheet as soon as possible.  If you want them really crispy on the bottom, leave them on the sheet to cool.
